Chord Overstreet is an American actor, singer, and musician. His roles include the films The Hole (2009), A Warrior’s Heart , 4th Man Out , and Falling for Christmas ; the music videos for “Lucky,” “Tonight Tonight,” and “Bacon;” and the shows Private , Glee , and Acapulco . His songs include “Homeland.”

Chord is the son of Julie/Julia and Paul Overstreet, a country music singer and songwriter. His brother is musician Nash Overstreet .

He has stated that he has some Native American ancestry. It is not clear if this Native American ancestry has been verified/documented.

Chord’s patrilineal line can be traced to Henry Overstreet, who was born, c. 1700, in Surrey, England.
