Chris Coleman is a Welsh professional footballer, and manager. A centre-back, he played for Manchester City, Swansea City, Crystal Palace, Blackburn Rovers, and Fulham, and the Wales national team. He managed Fulham, Real Sociedad, Coventry City, AEL, the Wales national team, Sunderland, Hebei China Fortune, Atromitos, AEL Limassol, OH Leuven, and Asteras Tripolis.
Chris is the son of Eileen (Shannon) and Patrick “Paddy” Coleman. His father was born in Ireland, and moved to Swansea at 20. Chris is married to English television presenter Charlotte Jackson, with whom he has two children.
