Chris O’Dowd is an Irish actor and comedian. His roles include the films Gulliver’s Travels (2010), Bridesmaids , Friends with Kids , Cuban Fury , Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children , The Cloverfield Paradox , and Slumberland , and the shows The Clinic , The IT Crowd , Girls , Moone Boy , which he also created, and directed and wrote for; Get Shorty , and State of the Union .
Chris is the son of Denise, a counsellor and psychotherapist, and Seán O’Dowd, a graphic designer. He is married to Scottish writer, director, and television presenter Dawn O’Porter, with whom he has two children.
