Chris Russo, also known as “Mad Dog,” is an American radio host. He hosts the Mike and the Mad Dog sports radio program, with Mike Francesca; and Mad Dog Unleashed .
Chris is the son of Vera “Molly” and Anthony Michael “Tony” Russo. His father was born in Long Island. His mother was English. He is married to Jeanne Lavelle, with whom he has four children, including Colin, who has also been a radio host.
Chris’s maternal grandfather was named Gilbert Edward Mellor.
Chris’s maternal grandmother was Cicely Maud Mizen (the daughter of Ebenezer Mizen and Lillian Sarah Robinson).
