Christopher George was an American television and film actor. He was known for his roles on the series The Rat Patrol , The Immortal , The Love Boat , and Fantasy Island , and in the films El Dorado , Project X (1968), Bandolero! , The Delta Factor , Chisum , I Escaped from Devil’s Island , Grizzly , Midway (1976), Day of the Animals , Whiskey Mountain , The Exterminator , City of the Living Dead , Graduation Day , Enter the Ninja , Mortuary , and Pieces (1982).
He was the son of Greek immigrants, Vaseleke (Vassiliki) Nicolas George (Greek: Βασιλική Γεωργίου) and John George/Georgiou (Greek: Ιωάννης Γεωργίου), a traveling salesman. His father was born in Sterea Ellada. His mother was born in Athens. He was raised partly in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, and Miami, Florida, among other cities. He attended Greek school as well as regular.
Christopher was married to actress Lynda Day George, until his death, with whom he had two children.
