Claudia Ohana is a Brazilian actress and singer. Her roles include the series Amor com Amor Se Paga , Rainha da Sucata , Vamp , Fera Ferida , A Próxima Vítima , Zaza , A Muralha , Estrela-Guia , As Filhas da Mãe , Da Cor do Pecado , Malhação , A Favorita , Cordel Encantado , Joia Rara , Psi , Sol Nascente , Verão 90 , and Vai na Fé , and the films Eréndira , Kuarup , Prime Time Soap , Zoom (2015), and Stronger than the World .
She is the daughter of painter Arthur José Carneiro and filmmaker Nazareth Ohana Silva. Her name Ohana comes from her maternal grandmother. Claudia has a daughter, actress Dandara Guerra, with her former husband, Portuguese-Brazilian film director and screenwriter Ruy Guerra. She is the half-sister of screenwriter, film director, and author João Emanuel Carneiro, who is married to actor Carmo Dalla Vecchia.
Claudia’s maternal grandfather was named Romeu Rodrigues Silva.
Cláudia’s maternal grandmother was the daughter of Joseph Abraham “José Abraão” Ohana and Eudóxia/Eudácia Nogueira. José was born in Faro, Portugal, to Sephardi Jewish parents from Morocco, Abraham Haim Ohana/Bar-Hana, who was from Fez, and Rachel Amzalak. Eudóxia was born in Amazonas, the daughter of Miguel Nogueira, and was of at least partial Indigenous Brazilian descent.
