Cliff Hagan is an American professional basketball player, and coach. A small forward, he spent most of his career with the St. Louis Hawks, as well as the Dallas Chaparrals, of the American Basketball Association (ABA)/National Basketball Association (NBA). He also coached the Dallas Chaparrals. Cliff is in the Hall of Fame. He is nicknamed “Li’l Abner.” He is 6′4″.
Cliff is the son of Mable Maddie and Thomas Wilber Hagan. He is married to Martha.
Cliff’s paternal grandfather was Samuel K. Hagan (the son of Thomas D. Hagan and Mildred Winifred Manning). Thomas was born in Kentucky, the son of William Byrum Hagan and Mary Catherine Polly Garmen. Mildred was born in Meade, Kentucky, the daughter of John Henry Manning and Susan Catherine Gough.
