Clint Walker was an American actor and singer. His roles included the show Cheyenne , and the films The Ten Commandments (1956), Fort Dobbs , Yellowstone Kelly , Gold of the Seven Saints , Send Me No Flowers , None but the Brave , The Night of the Grizzly , The Dirty Dozen (1967), More Dead Than Alive , Sam Whiskey , Pancho Villa (1972), and Small Soldiers . He was also known as Jett Norman.

Clint was the son of Gladys Henrietta (Schwanda) and Paul Arnold Walker, a labourer for Shell Oil. His mother was born in Uljanik, Croatia-Slavonia, Austria-Hungary, now Croatia. Clint was married to Susan Cavallari, until his death. He had a daughter, Valerie, who was one of the first female airline pilots; with his former wife Verna Garver.

Clint’s paternal grandfather was Joseph Elijah Walker (the son of Elijah Walker and Mary Jane Rea). Joseph was born in Bloomfield, Stoddard County, Missouri, and had deep roots in the U.S. Clint’s great-grandfather Elijah was born in Tennessee, the son of Jesse John Walker and Elizabeth Hunter. Mary Jane was the daughter of Joseph Rea and Ann/Anne Marshall.

Clint’s paternal grandmother was Mary Susan Pickens (the daughter of John A. Pickens and Belle Zada/Sadie Davis). Mary was born in Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky, and had deep American roots. John was born in Kentucky, the son of Alfred Pickens and Lavina Doyle. Belle was born in Kentucky, the daughter of Thomas Davis and Phoebe Ann Dodge.

Clint’s maternal grandfather was Thomas Schwanda (the son of Tomáš Švanda and Františka Bukáčková). Thomas was a Czech emigrant, from Kuklik, Okres Žďár nad Sázavou, Vysočina. Tomáš was the son of František Švanda and Anna Šírová. Františka was the daughter of Ignác “Hynek” Bukáček and Františka Penasova Mičková.

Clint’s maternal grandmother was Emilie/Emily/Amila Kovářová/Kovar/Smith (the daughter of Eduard Kovář and Emilie Dufková). Emily was a Czech emigrant, from Sebranice, Okres Blansko, South Moravia. Eduard was the son of Josef Kovář and Terezie Mašíková. Emilie was the daughter of František Dufka and Mariana Křížová.
