Clive Chin is a Jamaican record producer. He was a pioneer in the establishment of dub as a standalone musical form. He oversaw recordings by top 1970s reggae performers and producers the Wailers, Tommy McCook, Alton Ellis, Lee Perry, Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, and Black Uhuru. He also ran a Jamaican restaurant in Queens, New York City, New York, U.S.

Clive is the son of Patricia and record producer and entrepreneur Randy Chin (born Vincent G. Chin). His family ran Randy’s Record Store, and upstairs studio, Randy’s Studio 17, where Clive prospered as a producer.
