Connor McDavid is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. A centre, he plays for, and captains, the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League (NHL); and was with the Canada national team. He was the first overall pick in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, where he was selected by the Oilers. He is considered one of the best players in the NHL.
Connor is the son of Kelly and Brian McDavid. He is married to interior designer Lauren Kyle.
