Damiano David is an Italian musician, singer, and songwriter. He is the lead vocalist of rock band Måneskin, which won the Sanremo Music Festival 2021, and subsequently the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 for Italy. Other members of the band include bassist Victoria De Angelis , guitarist Thomas Raggi, and drummer Ethan Torchio.
He is the son of flight attendants Rossella Scognamiglio and Daniele David. A photo of his parents can be seen here . He is fluent in English, and can speak some Spanish and French.
