Daniele De Rossi is an Italian professional footballer and manager. A midfielder, he played for Roma and Boca Juniors, and the Italy national team. He manages Genoa. He previously managed SPAL and Roma. He was part of the 2006 FIFA World Cup-winning squad.
Daniele is the son of Michela Conte and Alberto De Rossi, a professional footballer and coach, who played for Ostia Mare, Piacenza, Mantova, Siena, Montevarchi, Prato, Livorno, Lucchese, San Marino, and Sarzanese, and who managed Roma (Youth Sector) and Roma Primavera.
Daniele is married to British-born Italian actress and model Sarah Felberbaum. He has a daughter with his former wife Tamara Pisnoli, who was a dancer on Sarabanda ; and two children with Sarah.
One of Daniele’s grandmothers is named Teresa.
