Daria Zawiałow, is a Polish singer, songwriter, composer, and music journalist. She won the “Debuts” contest at the National Festival of Polish Song in Opole in 2009. She received seven Fryderyk Awards, conferred by the Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry. In 2021, she was awarded the Best Polish Act at the 2021 MTV Europe Music Awards.

She was also known as Daria Kaczmarek, while married to guitarist Tomasz Kaczmarek.

Daria’s paternal grandfather is Anatol Zawiałow (the son of Aleksy Zawiałow and Pelagia Tarasiuk). Anatol was born in Hajnówka, Podlasie, Poland. Aleksy was born in Pskov, Russia. Pelagia was born in Nowe Karmino.
