He is known for his roles in the films Full Frontal , United 93 , I’ll Believe You , Sex and the City 2 , The Adjustment Bureau , Equity (2016), The Vanishing of Sidney Hall , Egg (2018), and A Complete Unknown , and on the series Law & Order , Oh Grow Up , Three Sisters , Frasier , Miss Match , Rescue Me , Law & Order: Criminal Intent , Lipstick Jungle , The Starter Wife , and The Exes .
His family is Ashkenazi Jewish. He is married to actress Alysia Reiner , with whom he has a daughter.
David’s paternal grandfather was Joseph Basche/Bachinsky (the son of Saul Bachinsky and Rebecca “Beckie” Rosenblum/Rosenbloom). Joseph was born in New York. Saul was born in New York, to parents from Germany, Herman Bachinsky and Rachel Kassel. Rebecca was born in New York, also to parents from Germany.
