David Howard Thornton is an American actor. He has starred as Art the Clown in the films Terrifier , Terrifier 2 , and Terrifier 3 , on the shows Mistress Peace Theatre and Bupkis , and in A Very Special Terrifier Christmas . He has also played The Mean One/the Grinch in the film The Mean One and Steamboat Willie in Screamboat , and appeared in the film Stream . He has had voice roles in the video games Two Worlds II: Pirates of the Flying Fortress , Ride to Hell: Retribution , and Invizimals: The Lost Kingdom and on the show The Bravest Knight .
