David Luiz is a Brazilian professional footballer. A centre-back and defensive midfielder, he plays for Pafos. He was previously with Vitória, Benfica, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Flamengo, and Fortaleza, and the Brazil national team. On 23 May, 2014, he agreed to a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain for a reported fee of £50 million, a record for a defender. He is also a Portuguese citizen.
