David Paymer is an American actor, comedian, and television director.
David is the son of Sylvia, a travel agent, and Marvin Paymer, a pianist and musical director. His father was of Russian Jewish descent. His mother was born in Belgium, to a Jewish family, and left for the U.S. after the Nazi ocupation. David has a brother, Steve Paymer, who is also an actor and director.
He is married to Liz Georges, with whom he has two children.
David’s paternal grandfather was named Michael/Michal Paymer/Peymer. Michael was born in Russia.
David’s paternal grandmother was named Rose Kassel. Rose was born in New Jersey, to parents from Russia.
