Deborah Shelton, also known as Debbie Shelton, is an American beauty pageant titleholder and actress. She was Miss Virginia World 1968, Miss Virginia USA 1970, and Miss USA 1970. She was 1st runner-up in Miss World USA 1968 and Miss Universe 1970. Her roles include the films Blood Tide and Body Double , and the series The Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo , B. J. and the Bear , Mrs. Columbo , Tenspeed and Brown Shoe , T. J. Hooker , The Yellow Rose , and Dallas .
Deborah has deep American roots from her recent family lines. She has a son with her former husband, Cuban-born Vici Castro; and a daughter with her former husband, Israeli-American music composer and television producer Shuki Levy.
Deborah’s paternal grandfather was John Daniel Shelton (the son of Charles Harbert Shelton and Mary Elizabeth Masters). John was born in Montgomery, Virginia. Charles was the son of Samuel Claiborne Shelton and Nancy Catherine Haymaker. Mary was the daughter of John Moten Masters and Marion Wallace Giboney.
Deborah’s paternal grandmother was Margaret Wesley Moses (the daughter of John Wesley Moses and Cora Sue Tate). Margaret was born in McDonalds Mill, Virginia. John was the son of Archibald W. Moses and Nancy Anne Martin. Cora was the daughter of James Board Tate and Rachel Elizabeth Dalton.
