Deron Williams is an American professional basketball player. A point guard, he played with the Utah Jazz, the New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets, Beşiktaş of the Turkish Basketball Super League, the Dallas Mavericks, and the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was a gold medal winner on the U.S. national team at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics, and was a state champion wrestler as a child. He is 6′3″.
He is married to Amy Young, with whom he has four children. He is a Christian.
