Dick Allen was an American professional baseball player. A first baseman and third baseman, he played for the Philadelphia Phillies, as well as the St. Louis Cardinals, the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Chicago White Sox, and the Oakland Athletics, of Major League Baseball (MLB).
