Diego Simeone is an Argentine professional footballer, and manager. A midfielder, he played for Vélez Sársfield, Pisa, Sevilla, Atlético Madrid, Inter Milan, Lazio, and Racing Club, and the Argentina national team. He manages Atlético Madrid. He previously managed Racing Club, Estudiantes, River Plate, San Lorenzo, and Catania. He is nicknamed “El Cholo.”
His father is Carlos Simeone. He is married to model Carla Pereyra. He has three children, professional footballers Giovanni Simeone, Gianluca Simeone, and Giuliano Simeone, with his former wife; and two children with Carla.
