Dina Shihabi is a Saudi Arabian and Palestinian actress. Her roles include the films Amira & Sam and Catching Dust , the shows Madam Secretary , Daredevil , Jack Ryan , Altered Carbon , Archive 81 , Ghosts of Beirut , and Painkiller , and the music video for “These Are the Ways.”
Dina is the daughter of Ali Shihabi, an author and commentator on Middle Eastern politics and economics with a particular focus on Saudi Arabia. She was raised in Saudi Arabia, Beirut, and Dubai, speaking Levantine Arabic. Dina has one child with her partner, Australian actor Jai Courtney .
She has stated :

Dina’s paternal grandfather was named Samir al Shihabi. Samir was a prominent Jerusalem-born Saudi Arabian diplomat, who served as President of the United Nations General Assembly, from 1991 to 1992, among other duties.
Dina’s paternal grandmother is named Kari Stonjum. Kari is Norwegian, from Bergen.
