Dominic Purcell is an Australian actor. He is known for his roles on the series Prison Break , The Flash , and Legends of Tomorrow , and in the films Blade: Trinity , as Dracula; Primeval , and Three Way .
He was born in Wallasey, Cheshire, England, the son of Maureen (Clarke) and Phil Myrtvedt. When he was two, his family moved to Australia, living in Bondi, New South Wales, and later Western Sydney. He has citizenship in Australia, the U.K., and Ireland.
Dominic is married to manager and producer Tish Cyrus. He has four children with his former wife Rebecca Williamson. Through Tish, he is the stepfather of actresses and singers Miley Cyrus and Noah Cyrus .
Dominic’s paternal grandfather was Haakon Olafsen Myrtvedt (the son of Olaf Larsen Myrtveit and Andrea Jensdotter Fløysand). Haakon was Norwegian, born in Fløysand gård, Meland, Hordaland. Olaf was the son of Lars Olsen Myrtvedt and Inger Olsdatter Haatuft. Andrea was the daughter of Jens Olsson Fløysand and Brita Bastesdotter Erdal.
