Dominik Hašek is a Czech professional ice hockey player. A goaltender, he played for HC Pardubice, HC Dukla Jihlava, the Chicago Blackhawks, the Buffalo Sabres, the Detroit Red Wings, the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League (NHL), and HC Spartak Moscow.
He is the son of Marie Hašková and Alois Kaštánek. Hašek is the surname of a stepfather. He is married to Alena, with whom he has two children.
