Donna Dixon is an American model, actress, and pageant winner. She was Miss Virginia USA 1976 and Miss District of Columbia World 1977.
She is the daughter of Mary Ruth and Earl Roy Dixon, who owned the nightclub Hillbilly Heaven. Donna is married to Canadian actor, comedian, and musician Dan Aykroyd , with whom she has three children, including singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Vera Sola.
Donna’s paternal grandfather was Roy Lee Dixon (the son of Samuel Walter Dixon and Dicie Emmaline Williams). Roy was born in Tennessee. Samuel was born in Jones Cove, Tennessee, the son of William Henry Dickson, whose paternal grandfather was born in England; and of Mary Ann “Polly” McMahan.
