Dons is a Latvian singer and songwriter. One of the most popular singers in Latvia, he appeared on reality show Talantu Fabrikā , and has won the Latvian Music Recording Awards’ Top Radio Hit award seven times for most played song in the country. Having recorded in Latvian and English, his standards include “My Religion is Freedom,” “Pēdējā Vēstule,” and “Hollow.” He represented Latvia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. He is also known as Art Green and Art Singer.
Dons’ father is Belarusian. His mother is Latvian, and performed as a professional soloist in Liepāja group Santa. He was raised in Brocēni, Latvia. Dons also lived for some years in London, England and Los Angeles, California.
