Dwight Howard is an American professional basketball player. A center and power forward, he played for the Orlando Magic, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Houston Rockets, the Atlanta Hawks, the Charlotte Hornets, the Washington Wizards, and the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association (NBA), and the Taoyuan Leopards of the T1. He is an NBA champion, an eight-time All-Star, an eight-time All-NBA Team honoree, a five-time All-Defensive Team member, and a three-time Defensive Player of the Year. He is 6′10″.
Dwight is the son of Sheryl, a college basketball player, and Dwight Howard, a Georgia State Trooper, and school athletic director. He has five children, including a son with his former partner, Magic dancer Royce Reed; and a son with Melissa Rios. Dwight is a Christian.
