Eddie Murray is an American professional baseball player and coach. A first baseman and designated hitter, he played for the Baltimore Orioles, as well as the Los Angeles Dodgers, the New York Mets, the Cleveland Indians, and the Anaheim Angels of Major League Baseball (MLB). He also coached the Baltimore Orioles, the Cleveland Indians, and the Los Angeles Dodgers. He is in the Baseball Hall of Fame as an Oriole. He is nicknamed “Steady Eddie.”

Eddie’s paternal grandfather was John Murray (the son of John Murray and Harriet Knox). Harriet was the daughter of Nancy.
