She is the daughter of sculptor and actress Louise Hunt and art dealer David Grob. She is married to American pianist, producer, and singer Doveman/Thomas Bartlett.
Ella’s paternal grandfather was Kenneth Vaughan Grob (the son of Robert Grob and Irene Jones). Kenneth was born in West Derby, Lancashire, England, and was chairman of the Alexander Howden Group. Robert was born in Switzerland.
Ella’s paternal grandmother was named Mary Jordan.
