Emilia Jones is a British actress. She is known for her roles in the films What We Did on Our Holiday , Brimstone , Ghostland , Two for Joy , Horrible Histories: The Movie – Rotten Romans , CODA (2021), Cat Person , Fairyland , Winner (2024), Charlie Harper , and The Running Man (2025); and on the shows House of Anubis , Utopia (2013), Residue , Locke & Key , and Task .

She is the daughter of Claire Fossett, a circus performer, and Aled Jones, a singer, radio and television presenter, and actor. Her father is Welsh, and was raised in a small Welsh-speaking community, Llandegfan in Anglesey; he also has some English ancestry. Her mother is English. Emilia was raised in Barnes.

Emilia’s paternal grandfather was Derek John Jones (the son of John Richard Jones and Violet Gabrielle Tyler). Violet was the daughter of Charles Tyler, who was from Hereford, England, and of a mother who was also English, from Hampshire.

Emilia’s paternal grandmother was named Nest Rowlands (the daughter of Emrys Rowlands). Emrys was the son of William David Rowlands and Ellen.
