Enzo Amore is an American professional wrestler, and rapper. He performs in the independent circuit, under the name nZo, and wrestled in the WWE as Enzo Amore, drawing on his Italian heritage. He raps under the name Real1. He is also known as Eric Anthony.
Enzo is the son of Rosemary and Anthony Arndt. He was raised partly in Waldwick, New Jersey.
Enzo’s paternal grandfather was William Arndt (the son of Edwin Arndt and Catherine Murrin). William was born in New Jersey. Edwin was born in West Hoboken, Hudson, New Jersey, the son of Heinrich Arndt, who changed his name to William Henry Arndt; and of Viola Von Ludwig. Both Heinrich and Viola’s parents were German, with at least partial roots in Prussia. Enzo’s great-grandmother Catherine was born in Hudson Falls, Kingsbury, Washington, New York, the daughter of Irish-American parents, John J. Murrin, whose father was born in Ireland, and Agnes Beadle. Enzo’s paternal third great-grandfather, Edward Arndt, emigrated to New York, and married Elise/Elizabeth Anna Ratz.
Enzo’s paternal grandmother was named Carol Ann Corizzi. Carol was born in New Jersey. Carol’s grandfather, Joseph Corizzi, was born in New Jersey, to Italian immigrants.
