She has worked with artists like The Roots. She is also known as DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown, Annie, Sara Bella, Medulla Oblongata, Analog girl in the Digital World, and Manuela Maria Mexico. She was a member of experimental black music collective Soulquarians. Common , D’Angelo , Mos Def , Questlove , and Q-Tip were also members of the group.
Erykah has a son with rapper, actor, and record producer André 3000 ; a daughter with rapper The D.O.C.; and a daughter with hip hop recording artist and record producer Jay Electronica.
