She is the daughter of Esther and Donald Warren.
Estella’s paternal grandfather was Donald Phillips Warren (the son of Donald Cameron Warren and Helen Gertrude Phillips). Estella’s grandfather Donald was born in Ontario, Canada. Estella’s great-grandfather Donald was the son of James Borlase Warren, whose paternal grandfather was from Kinsale, County Cork, Ireland, and whose mother was English; and of Jessie Jean Cameron, whose father, and maternal grandparents, were Scottish. Estella’s great-grandmother Helen was the daughter of George Henry “Harry” Phillips, who was an English emigrant, from Shifnal, Shropshire; and of Charlotte Maud Cowherd, whose grandparents were all English.
Estella’s paternal grandmother was Olive Elaine Case (the daughter of Volley Hart Case and Stella Lehrbass). Olive was born in Sanilac, Michigan. Volley was the son of James Henry Case, whose father had deep roots in the U.S., and whose maternal grandparents were Irish; and of Lucy Jane Sumner, who had partly deep American roots. Estella’s great-grandmother Stella was the daughter of Paul Otto Frederick Lehrbass, who was a German emigrant, from Guhringen, Rosenberg, West Prussia; and of Emily Ann Frayne, whose parents were from Devon, England.
Estella’s maternal grandfather was William James Thomas Hicks (the son of William Henry Hicks and Gertrude Mary/May Bright). Estella’s great-grandfather William was the son of James Hicks, whose maternal grandparents were Scottish; and of Charlotte Lorinda Ireland. Gertrude was the daughter of Thomas Albert/Herbert Bright and Mary Elizabeth Devine/Divine.
Estella’s maternal grandmother was Esther Elizabeth Beare (the daughter of John Beare and Wilhelmina Rose Clayton). John was originally from Devon, England, the son of Simon Beare and Mary Ann Saunders. Wilhelmina was born in Ontario, Canada, to English parents, from Derbyshire, William Grenfield Clayton and Harriet Ellen Coathup.
