Ethan Katzberg is a Canadian hammer thrower. He won gold at the 2023 and 2025 World Championshipss, and at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris; as well as at the 2023 Pan American Games. He was a silver medallist at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. He is 6′7″.
Ethan appears to descend from Henry Katzberg, who was born in Saskatchewan, the son of Ludwig/Louis Katzberg and Polly Deckert, who were ethnic Germans from Poland. Ludwig was the son of Johann Gottlieb Katzberg.
