Fabio Cannavaro is an Italian professional footballer, and coach. A centre-back, he played for Napoli, Parma, which he captained; Inter Milan, Juventus, Real Madrid, and Al Ahli Dubaii, and the Italy national team, which he has also captained. He manages the Uzbekistan national team. He previously managed Guangzhou Evergrande, Al Nassr, Tianjin Quanjian, the China national team, Benevento, Udinese, and Dinamo Zagreb. He won the 2006 FIFA World Cup as captain, and the 2006 Ballon D’Or, the biggest achievements in football.
Fabio is the son of Gelsomina Costanzo and Pasquale Cannavaro. His brother, Paolo Cannavaro, is also a professional footballer. He is married to Daniela Arenoso, with whom he has three children, including Christian, who is also a footballer.
