Fala Chen (陈法拉) is a Chinese and American actress and singer. She has worked in both Hong Kong and U.S. productions. Her roles include the films Turning Point (2009), 72 Tenants of Prosperity , I Love Hong Kong , The Fortune Buddies , Tales from the Dark 2 , The Treasure , Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings , Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire , Peg O’ My Heart , Lucky Lu , and Ballad of a Small Player ; and the shows Heart of Greed , The Family Link , Steps , A Journey Called Life , Catch Me Now , Moonlight Resonance , The Stew of Life , In the Eye of the Beholder , Ghost Writer , Can’t Buy Me Love , No Regrets , Links to Temptation , Grace Under Fire , Lives of Omission , Queens of Diamonds and Hearts , Triumph in the Skies II , Will Power , Sound of the Desert , The Undoing , and Irma Vep . She was Miss New York Chinese 2004, and won the Miss Chinese International Pageant 2005.
Her family moved to Atlanta, Georgia, U.S., when she was fourteen. Fala is fluent in Mandarin, English, Cantonese, and Japanese. She began her acting career in Hong Kong. She is married to French entrepreneur Emmanuel Straschnov, with whom she has two children.
