Federica Mogherini is an Italian politician. She has been Rector of the College of Europe, since 1 September, 2020. She was previously Minister of Foreign Affairs, from 22 February, 2014 to 31 October, 2014, Vice-President of the European Commission, and High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, both, from 1 November, 2014 to 30 November, 2019.
Federica is the daughter of director and set designer Flavio Mogherini, who was from Arezzo, Tuscany, Italy, and a mother from Vittorio Veneto, Province of Treviso, Veneto, Italy. She has two children with her former husband Matteo Rebesani.
