He has appeared in the films Les Misérables (2012), Animals (2019), Boys From County Hell , Cinderella (2021), Scrooge: A Christmas Carol (2022), in voice performance; Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire , and Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver , on the series Hawkeye , Lost Boys and Fairies , and Prime Target , as well as in many stage productions.

He was raised in rural Killyman. He is married to English singer, songwriter, actor, and playwright Declan Bennett.
