Franca Sozzani was an Italian journalist. She was editor-in-chief of Vogue Italia, from 1988 to 2016, her death.
Franca was the daughter of Adelmina Rebuzzi, a housewife, and Gilberto Sozzani, an engineer. Her parents married in Suzzara, Province of Mantua, Lombardy, Italy.
Her sister is gallerist Carla Sozzani. She had a son, photographer and director Francesco Carrozzini , with Francesco Carrozzini.
