Francesco Totti is an Italian professional footballer. An attacking midfielder and forward, he played for, and captained, Serie A club Roma, and played for the Italy national team. He was a member of the 2006 FIFA World Cup-winning squad. He is nicknamed “Er Bimbo de Oro (The Golden Boy),” “L’Ottavo Re di Roma (The Eighth King of Rome),” “Er Pupone (The Big Baby),” and “Il Capitano (The Captain).”
Francesco is the son of Fiorella (Marrozzini) and Enzo Totti. His brother, Riccardo, serves as his agent. Francesco is married to showgirl, model, television personality, and actress Ilary Blasi , with whom he has three children. Francesco is Catholic.
Francesco’s paternal grandfather was named Gianluca Totti.
