Frank Miller is an American comic book writer, novelist, inker, screenwriter, film director, and producer. He is known for his graphic novels/limited series comics Ronin , Daredevil: Born Again , The Dark Knight Returns , Batman: Year One , Sin City , and 300 . He co-wrote the films RoboCop 2 and RoboCop 3 ; co-directed the films Frank Miller’s Sin City , which he also co-wrote; and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For , which he wrote; and directed and wrote the film The Spirit (2008). He also co-created the show Cursed .
He was born in Olney, Maryland, and raised in Montpelier, Vermont.
