Frank Nighbor was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. A centre, he played for the Toronto Blueshirts, the Vancouver Millionaires, the Ottawa Senators, and the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was nicknamed “Pembroke Peach,” “The Flying Dutchman,” and “Peerless Frank.”
He was the son of Pauline Korichie and Julius Neibaeur/Nighbor. His paternal grandparents were German. His maternal grandparents were Polish. He was married to Dorothy M. Slattery, until her death; and then to Mary Ann Heney.
