Frank Rijkaard is a Dutch professional footballer, and manager. A defensive midfielder, he played for Ajax, Sporting CP, Real Zaragoza, and AC Milan, and the Netherlands national team. He has managed the Netherlands national team, Sparta Rotterdam, Barcelona, Galatasaray, and the Saudi Arabia national team. He is regarded as one of the best players of his generation. He is 6′3″.
Frank is the son of Neel van der Meulen and Herman Rijkaard (Herman Harry Rijkaard), a professional footballer, who played as a forward. His father was born in Paramaribo, Surinam. His brother is players’ agent Herman Rijkaard, Jr. Frank is married to Stephanie. He has four children.
