Fred Tatasciore is an American voice actor. Known for his deep-throated/intimidating vocal performances, he has voiced Marvel characters the Hulk and Beast and DC’s Solomon Grundy, as well as Yosemite Sam, Taz, Soldier: 76, Shao Kahn, and Kakuzu.
He is the son of Sharon (married name Hill) and producer Alfred/Fred Tatasciore. His stepmother was model Marianne Ryan Tatasciore. He is married to production designer Mercedes Young, with whom he has a son.
Fred’s paternal grandfather was Oliver Tatasciore (the son of Gerardo Tatasciore and Concetta/Concietta Di Toro Marmarella). Oliver was born in Connecticut. Gerardo was born in Bucchianico, province of Chieti, Abruzzo region, Italy, the son of Donato Tatasciore and Annantonia Marusco. Concetta was also born in Bucchianico, the daughter of Raffaele Di Toro Mammarella and Annantonia Panara.
Fred’s paternal grandmother was Stella Caceci (the daughter of Giovanni “John” Caceci and Concetta/Concietta Smario). Stella was born in New York. John was born in Sicily, Italy, the son of Gaetano Caceci and Maria Fontanazzo. Concetta was also from Sicily.
