Freya Tingley is an Australian actress. Stine’s The Haunting Hour: The Series , and Dota: Dragon’s Blood ; and the made-for-tv movie The Choking Game .
Freya’s maternal grandfather was named John Thomas Hetherington (the son of Ellis John Hetherington). Freya’s grandfather John was born in Glasgow, Scotland. Ellis was born in Trimulgherry, India, the son of Thomas Hetherington and Mary Straith Anderson. Freya’s grandfather John was of part Indian descent; his grandmother Mary’s maternal grandmother was Indian, among possibly other Indian ancestry.
Freya’s maternal grandmother was Margaret Mary Ella Mathew (the daughter of Cyril Owen Hamer Mathew and Kathleen Lillian Clarke). Cyril was born in Calcutta, India, the son of Henry Arthur Wellesley Mathew and Ella Anna Hamer. Kathleen was born in Coimbatore, India, the daughter of Edward Patrick Clarke and Martha Jane Summers. Freya’s great-great-grandmother Ella’s grandfather Samuel Blair Hamer was the son of a Guyanese planter, Joseph Hamer, and of Marianne Deniant, described as “a free mestizo woman.”
