George Lazenby is an Australian actor and model. He played James Bond in the 1969 film On Her Majesty’s Secret Service .
He is the son of Sheila Joan, who worked at a retail store, and George Edward Lazenby, a railway worker. He has a daughter with his former partner Maureen Powell; two children with his former wife, Christina Ross “Chrissie” Townson, a Gannett family heiress; and three children with his former wife, American professional tennis player Pam Shriver.
George’s paternal grandfather was John George Lazenby (the son of Edward Ainsley Lazonby and Ada Rose Durham). John was born in Stockton on Tees, Durham, England, to parents who were also born in Durham.
George’s paternal grandmother was named Clara Adelaide Davis (the daughter of Richard Davis and Ann). Clara was born in West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England.
