Gigi is the daughter of Judith and David Lazzarato, a business executive, who was independent director of The Stars Group, CEO of Craig Wireless, and CFO of Alliance Atlantis. Gigi was described as having French/French-Canadian, Italian, and Lebanese background in her “ Draw My Life ” YouTube video. The name Lazzarato is Italian, most common in the Veneto region, in the northeastern part of Italy. Gigi’s mother was born in St. John, New Brunswick, to Barb MacNeil; she was adopted by Loretta and Bud Belding.
Gigi was raised Catholic.
Gigi is married to American model, socialite, designer, and LGBTQ+ rights activist Nats Getty. Nats is a trangender man. Nats is from the well-known Getty oil family, and is a first cousin of actor Balthazar Getty .
