Glen Morgan is an American television producer, writer, and director. He was a writer for the shows The X-Files and Millennium , and directed episodes of the former. He created the show Space: Above and Beyond , with James Wong, which he also wrote for. He has also directed and written the films Willard (2003) and Black Christmas (2006), and co-written, with Wong, the films The Boys Next Door (1985), Final Destination , The One (2001), and Final Destination 3 .

He was partly raised in El Cajon, California. His brother is screenwriter Darin Morgan. He is married to actress Kristen Cloke. He has a daughter with his former wife Cindy; and at least two children with Kristen.

Glen’s paternal grandfather was Albert Morgan (the son of Gordon Bennett Morgan and Julia Fannon). Albert was born in Luzerne, Pennsylvania. Gordon was born in Plymouth, Pennsylvania, the son of Welsh parents, Richard Morgan, from Tregaron, Ceredigion, and Mary J. Gwynn, from Ystrad, Rhondda Fawr. Julia was born in Pennsylvania.

Glen’s paternal grandmother was Viola Owens (the daughter of William Owens and Edna Thomas). William was born in Pennsylvania, to Welsh parents, John W. Owens and Ellen Edwards. Edna was born in Pennsylvania, the daughter of Richard Charles Thomas, who was from Resolven, Neath, Wales, and of Rachel Ann Jones.

Glen’s maternal grandfather was Lawrence Taillie (the son of Hendrik John “Henry/Harvey” Taillie and Elisabeth/Elizabeth Ross). Lawrence was born in Rochester, New York. Hendrik was born in either New York or Groede, Oostburg, Zeeland, Netherlands, to Dutch parents, Charel Jacobus Taillie and Johanna Maria Gijzels. Elisabeth was born in Rochester, the daughter of Henry John Ross, who was Dutch, and of Jane Jennie Hess, whose parents were Dutch.

Glen’s maternal grandmother was Margaret Marie McLenachen (the daughter of John McLenachen/McLannachan and Harriet Irving/Irvine Anderson). Margaret was born in New York, to Scottish parents, from Airdrie, Lanarkshire. John was the son of Robert McLannachan and Elizabeth Callender Lowrie. Harriet was the daughter of David Anderson and Margaret MacDonald.
