Gordon Ramsay is a British celebrity chef, restaurateur, television presenter, and writer.
Gordon is the son of Helen, a nurse, and Gordon James Ramsay, a swimming pool manager, welder, and shopkeeper. His family moved to Bishopton, Stratford-upon-Avon, England, when he was nine. He is married to English cookbook author, television personality, and schoolteacher Tana Ramsay (born Cayetana Elizabeth Hutcheson), with whom he has six children, including fashion designer and blogger Holly Ramsay and television presenter, chef, and social media influencer Tilly Ramsay.
Gordon’s paternal grandfather was James Watson Ramsay (the son of James Watson Ramsay and Jeanie Parker Beaton). Gordon’s great-grandfather James was the son of James Ramsay, who was born in Ireland, and had roots in County Fermanagh; and of Martha Watson. Jennie was the daughter of William Parker and Jane Beaton.
Gordon’s paternal grandmother was named Annie Dupong Scott. Annie was born in Port Glasgow, Renfrewshire.
