Gregg Alexander is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was on lead vocals, guitar, songwriting, and production for alternative rock duo New Radicals, who had the international hit “You Get What You Give” in 1998. Danielle Brisebois was also a member of the duo. He is also known as Alex Ander and Cessyl Orchestra.

Gregg is the son of Sharon and Anthony Martin “Tony” Aiuto, a plumber. He was raised in a Jehovah’s Witness household.

Gregg’s paternal grandfather was named Vito (later William “Bill”) Aiuto. Vito was an Italian emigrant, from Monte San Giuliano, now Erice, Province of Trapani, Sicily.

Gregg’s paternal grandmother was Gladys Graves (the daughter of Sheridan O. “Sherd” Graves and May Frances Davis). Gladys was born in Findlay, Ohio. Sheridan was the son of Seth Graves and Sarah Ann “Jane” Tompkins.
